JGL ("Jadran" Galensky Laboratories) is an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Rijeka, Croatia. The company's activities are focused on the development and production of medicines for the treatment of sensory diseases. JGL is an expert and leader in the use of the health benefits of seawater.

Thanks to the systematic training of employees, constant investments in the development of new products, research of market needs, as well as investments in modern technologies for the production and quality control of medicines, JGL has grown in a relatively short time into the third largest pharmaceutical company in Croatia.

Activities

The result of twenty years of research and production activities of the company is a portfolio of its own products of 300 units, including: branded generics, prescription and over-the-counter drugs, drugs based on natural raw materials, dietary supplements, medical products and dermatological cosmetics.

The production facilities of the company that comply with international standards GMP / GLP (Good Manufacturing Practice / Good Laboratory Practice) ensure the production of drugs in the following dosage forms:

• sterile solutions (eye drops, spray and nasal drops)

• solid oral dosage forms (capsules and tablets)

• soft dosage forms (ointments, creams and gels)

• liquid dosage forms (syrups, eye drops)

• dermatological solutions

Since the Croatian coast, where JGL was created, is washed by one of the cleanest bodies of water on our planet, the Aqua Maris line of products based on water from the Adriatic Sea is a key one for the company.

JGL is also known for brands such as: Vagilak, Dramina, Rinomaris, Meralys, Prolife, Normia, Vitalia, Adrience, Holyplant.

Most of the drugs in the company's portfolio are in-house developments, but JGL actively collaborates with other pharmaceutical companies: Bristol-Myers Squibb, Krka, Christian Hansen and Zetta Pharmaceuticals.

Today JGL exports its own products to 24 markets. Since the company is maximally interested in the internationalization of its activities in all segments of the pharmaceutical market, its sphere of interests has been expanded from Central and Eastern Europe to other world markets.

Strategic brands Aqua Maris, Meralys and Adrience are supplied to Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Guatemala, Turkey, Kuwait and Yemen. The company plans to enter the markets of the Middle East, Western Europe, USA and South America.
