Indications:

relief of premenstrual symptoms (so-called premenstrual syndrome).

Composition:

1 coated tablet contains: active substance: Agni casti fructus extractum siccum (6-12: 1) 40mg (equivalent to 20mg of the primary extract) and auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, silicon colloid dioxide, macrogol 400, macrogol 20,000, propylene glycol, white coating suspension: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400.

Action:

reduces the severity of premenstrual discomfort.

Dosage:

adults 1 tablet daily with a small amount of water. The medicine should be taken at the same time each day, regardless of meals. Duration of treatment should last at least 3 months.

Contraindications:

allergic to any component of the drug, pregnancy, lactation.

General physical and chemical properties:  coated greenish blue, matte finish, round, lenticular

Pharmaceutical properties:  Plant based drug, the components of which have a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones. It has dopaminergic action, that causes a decrease in the production of prolactin, ie. eliminates hyperprolactinemia. The increased concentration of prolactin secretion of gonadotropins breaks, causing disturbances may occur follicular maturation, ovulation and luteal phase, which further leads to an imbalance between estradiol and progesterone. It is this hormonal imbalance causes menstrual irregularities and mammalgia. Cyclodynon  normalizes the ratio of gonadotropins, resulting in normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.

Prolactin also has a direct stimulatory effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, enhancing the formation of connective tissue and causing the expansion of the milk ducts. Reduction of prolactin leads to regression of pathological processes in the mammary glands and relieves pain.

Clinical characteristics: Usage:  - Menstrual disorders, mammalgia, premenstrual syndrome.

Do not use if: You have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients, .you have intolerance to active ingredients.

Drug Interactions:

When combined with antagonists of dopamine receptors, a mutual lowering of the effect is possible. Interactions with other drugs are still unknown and not excluded.

Specific application:

in case of symptoms of weakness, depression, pain in the mammary glands, as well as in the case of menstrual irregularities, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Be aware that the tablets, coated with a shell, contain milk sugar (lactose), which can cause epigastric pain and diarrhea. Note for patients with diabetes: people with diabetes can take drops and pills, because they have diabetes mellitus.

Note for diabetics: 1 tablet contains approximately 0.01 bread unit.

Usage during pregnancy or lactation: There is no information on the effect of Cyclodynon during pregnancy, however it is not recommended to take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

There is no information on passing of metabolites of the drug into breast milk, it is not recommending during lactation.

Usage while operating machinery or driving: If you experience dizziness while taking this drug, avoid driving and operating machinery.

Dosage: Take 1 tablet once a day. Swallow coated tablets without chewing followed by ample amount of water (1 glass). Treatment should last 3 months without interruption even if the symptoms improve.

If symptoms do not improve or continue after 3 months, consult your healthcare provider.

Children. This drug should not be used for children (under 18 years).

Overdose: There are no known cases of overdose. In case of overdose symptomatic treatment is recommended.

Side effects:  Rarely,  allergic skin reactions: rash, irritation, swelling., difficulty breathing and swallowing. There are data on rare cases of transient psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations. If you experience any negative symptoms, stop taking the medicine and consult your healthcare provider.

Shelf life: 5  years.

Do not use the product after expiration date indicated on the package.

Storage: Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Keep medicines away from children and pets.
