Composition active ingredients panangin:

magnesium asparaginate, potassium asparaginate; 1 coated tablet contains 140 mg of magnesium asparaginate (as 175 mg of magnesium asparaginate tetrahydrate) equivalent to 11.8 mg of Mg 2+; 158 mg potassium asparaginate (as 166.3 mg potassium asparaginate hemihydrate) is equivalent to 36, 2 mg K +; excipients panangin: silicon dioxide colloidal potato starch; povidone, magnesium stearate talcum starch corn macrogol 6000; titanium dioxide, E 171; copolymer of methacrylate base (Eudragit E 100).

Indications for use

as an additional therapy in the treatment of chronic heart diseases (including heart failure, in the post-infarction period), cardiac arrhythmias (especially ventricular arrhythmias);
as adjunctive therapy in combination with cardiac glycosides;
as an additional source of potassium and magnesium ions.

Dosage regimen

The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets. 3 times / day If necessary, the dose can be increased to 3 tab. 3 times / day

Tablets should be taken after meals, as acidic environment of the stomach reduces the effectiveness of the preparation.

Side effects

From the digestive system:

perhaps - increased stool (when using the preparation in high doses).
Contraindications

Pharmaceutical group: Mineral drug

Pharmaceutical properties:  Magnesium and potassium - is intracellular cations play an important role in the interaction of intracellular structures and macromolecules, in the functioning of many enzymes and the mechanism of muscle contraction. Contraindications:  Sensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Acute metabolic acidosis; hemolysis; acute and chronic renal failure; gipermagniemiya; hyperkalemia;

Application features:  Panangin may interact with your health condition. This interaction may worsen your health condition or alter the way the drug works. It is important to always let your doctor and pharmacist know all the health conditions you currently have, especially: Arrhythmias; Heart failure; Myocardial infarction.

 

Usage during pregnancy or breastfeeding: Toxicity of the ingredients has not been established. No known reactions have been reported.  Consult your health care provider if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Usage and Dosage:

Single dose:

For adults 1-2 tablets 3 times per day to completely dissolve in mouth. Dose can be increased to 3 tablets 3 times a day after a meal.

Treatment duration  as recommended by health care provider.

Children: the drug is not recommended for children over due to lack of research.

Overdose: no adverse reaction reported.

Side effects:  Although rarely possible hypersensitivity reaction may occur if the patient is hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
