Active ingredients

Calcium, which is part of the drug, is a building component for bone tissue, regulates the permeability of the vascular wall, participates in the regulation of conductivity in synapses and neuromuscular junctions, as well as in the contractile activity of skeletal and smooth muscles. Plays an important role in the blood clotting process. Calcium carbonate is a salt with the highest content of elemental calcium, contains the maximum amount of elemental calcium, prevents calculus formation in the urinary system even in the case of prolonged use, and ensures a decrease in excess production of parathyroid hormone.

Indications for use

Osteovis is recommended for:

• prevention and treatment of primary (menopausal, senile) and secondary osteoporosis (hyper (para) thyroid, steroid, heparin, idiopathic);
• prevention and treatment of calcium and / or vitamin D3 deficiency (during pregnancy, lactation, periods of increased growth, to accelerate the consolidation of fractures)

Mode of application

Children 7-12 years old 1 tab. per day, over 12 years old and adults 1-2 tab. per day, pregnant and elderly people 2-3 tab. a day after meals.

The course of admission depends on the pathology.

Contraindications

Individual sensitivity to the components of the product, children under 7 years of age, patients with phenylketonuria.
