Product description

The most common symptoms of vaginal epithelial dysfunction are dryness, itching, burning, discomfort and pain during intercourse. Their cause may be hormonal changes (caused by menopause or the use of contraception), stress, a previous childbirth, as well as gynecological procedures. These symptoms can also be caused by chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Vaginal epithelial dysfunction may contribute to the development and persistence of intimate infections. The Regevagia medical device creates conditions conducive to restoring the proper condition of the epithelium by creating a layer covering the vaginal mucosa. It improves hydration and supports the process of tissue regeneration. Thanks to its properties, it soothes vaginal inflammation, the feeling of dryness and discomfort. Additionally, the lactic acid contained in the product helps to maintain the physiological pH level, which reduces the risk of infection.

Application

In order to alleviate the feeling of dryness and discomfort (tension, itching, burning) in the intimate areas caused by: estrogen deficiency (including in the perimenopause or after removal of the uterus with appendages), vaginal mucosa atrophy (atrophy), increased stress; in order to facilitate the regeneration of the vaginal epithelium: in the perimenopausal period, when the vaginal mucosa disappears, in the case of abnormal changes in the vaginal epithelium (dystrophy) due to e.g. hormonal preparations (e.g. gonadoliberin agonists - GnRH, glucocorticosteroids) to relieve pain in case of painful intercourse (dysparenia); to relieve the discomfort of swelling, redness, itching around the vulva and the appearance of abnormal discharge; as an auxiliary, in order to maintain the correct pH and vaginal microflora, e.g. after antibiotic treatment. At the doctor's recommendation, the product can also be used to support tissue regeneration: after radio- and chemotherapy, gynecological procedures and after childbirth.

Usage method

Wash hands thoroughly before application.

Basic treatment: use 1 vaginal globule once a day (at night) for 7 days or as directed by your doctor. The globule should be placed deep in the vagina.

Maintenance treatment: use 1 vaginal globule every 2-3 days or as prescribed by your doctor. The globule should be placed deep in the vagina.
