Allergodil eye drops - antiallergic eye drops, which are used to stop the manifestation of allergic eye damage (conjunctivitis, seasonal allergic eye diseases, etc.). The drug has a powerful and long-lasting anti-allergic effect, is well tolerated, almost does not cause side effects even with prolonged use.

The mechanism of action of eye drops Allergoodil is associated with selective blocking of H1 receptors (histamine). The drug stabilizes the membranes of mast cells and slows the formation and release of biologically active substances that accompany the early and late phases of inflammation (such as leukotriene, serotonin, histamine, platelet activating factor), prevents the development of bronchospasm, reduces the number of eosinophils and reduces the number of molecular adhesion cells.

Azelastine does not have a clinically significant effect on the QT interval, including long-term use of high doses of the drug.

Eliminates such manifestations as edema and hyperemia of the mucous eye, itchy eyelids, lacrimation, discomfort and sensation of foreign body in the eyes. The drug has a powerful and long-lasting anti-allergic effect.

The blocker of histamine H1-receptors, a derivative of phthalazinone. Allergodil has a strong and long-lasting anti-allergic effect. Inhibits the synthesis or release of mediators involved in the early and late stages of allergic reactions (including leukotrienes, serotonin, platelet activating factor (PAF)), inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells activated by an allergen, prevents bronchospasm caused by leukotrienes and PAF, reduces the number of cells of molecular adhesion and eosinophils. With prolonged use in high doses, there was no clinically significant effect of azelastine on the QT interval.

Indications:

• prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis
• treatment of off-season (all-the-year-round) allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications:

• Children under 4 years.
• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
• Pregnancy I trimester.
• Lactation period.

Suggested Use:

Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis

Adults and children over 4 years: appoint 1 drop in each eye 2 times / day. (in the morning and in the evening). If necessary, the frequency of application is increased up to 4 times / day.

In the case of an alleged allergen exposure, the drug is used for prophylactic purposes.

Non-seasonal (all-the-year-round) allergic conjunctivitis

Adults and children 12 years and older: appoint 1 drop in each eye 2 (morning and evening). If necessary, the frequency of application is increased up to 4 times / day.
