Product description
Fanigan tablets are used for symptomatic treatment:
- pain syndrome in inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthritis);
- pain syndrome in diseases of the spine;
- an acute attack of gout;
- post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndrome, accompanied by inflammation and edema;
- severe migraine attacks;
- renal and biliary colic;
- gynecological diseases accompanied by pain and inflammation (primary algomenorrhea, adnexitis);
- pain syndrome in inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media);
- toothache.
Composition
One tablet contains (active ingredients):
- paracetamol - 500 mg;
- diclofenac sodium - 50 mg.
Excipients: starch, polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30, sodium croscarmellose, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, dye Sunset Yellow FCF.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to diclofenac, paracetamol or to any of the auxiliary ingredients of the preparation;
- attacks of bronchial asthma (bronchospasm), urticaria, acute rhinitis or other allergy symptoms in history caused by the use of diclofenac, paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations;
- peptic ulcers of the stomach or intestines;
- decompensated liver and / or kidney dysfunctions;
- deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;
- age up to 14 years, pregnancy, lactation period.
Mode of application
Doses are determined for each patient individually, depending on the patient's age, the nature and course of the disease, the tolerability and therapeutic efficacy of the preparation.
At the beginning of treatment, adults and children over 14 years of age are recommended to prescribe 2-3 tablets of Fanigan per day.
With moderate symptoms of the disease, as well as with prolonged therapy, it is usually enough to take two tablets of the preparation per day - one tablet in the morning and in the evening. The maximum daily dose of Fanigan under such conditions should not exceed 3 tablets.
In primary algodismenorrhea, the initial dose is from 1 to 3 tablets, however, if necessary, a single dose can be increased to 4 tablets per day.
The duration of treatment is 5-7 days and depends on the course of the disease. The maximum daily dose of Fanigan for adults and children over 14 years of age is 4 tablets per day.

Diclofenac and paracetamol pass into breast milk, therefore, if it is necessary to prescribe the preparation "Fanigan" during lactation, it is necessary to decide on the termination of breastfeeding.
Children
Fanigan is not recommended for the treatment of children under the age of 14 because of the high content of active substances in the tablet.
Drivers
During treatment, care must be taken when driving vehicles and working with other mechanisms.
Overdose
Symptoms: arterial hypotension, respiratory depression, convulsions, renal failure, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy.
Forced diuresis, hemodialysis or hemoperfusion are not effective, since the active substances of the preparation are largely bound to blood plasma proteins.
Side effects
In general, the preparation is well tolerated. Some patients with hypersensitivity to diclofenac and paracetamol may experience the following symptoms.
From the gastrointestinal tract: sometimes - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; in some cases - constipation, hemorrhagic colitis, exacerbation of ulcerative colitis.
From the side of the central nervous system: sometimes - headache, dizziness; rarely - drowsiness; in some cases - impaired sensitivity, insomnia, irritability.
From the senses: in some cases - impaired vision and taste.
From the side of the skin: sometimes - skin rash; rarely - urticaria.
From the side of the liver: sometimes - an increase in the level of aminotransferases in the blood serum.
Hypersensitivity reactions: rarely - bronchospasm, systemic anaphylactic / anaphylactoid reactions, including hypotension.
From the side of the cardiovascular system: in some cases - tachycardia, chest pain, arterial hypertension, congestive heart failure.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° С, out of the reach of children, in a dry, dark place.
Shelf life is 3 years.
