"Aqua Maris® for Children from Birth" is a remedy for the treatment of nasal diseases.

Peculiarities

Sterilized isotonic seawater contributes to the maintenance of the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.

The preparation helps to liquefy mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa.

The trace elements that make up the preparation improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have an anti-inflammatory, cleansing, stimulating, restorative effect on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity.

In case of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, the preparation helps to flush and remove allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, to reduce the local inflammatory process.

The preparation, used for hygienic purposes, helps to cleanse the mucous membrane from street and room dust that has settled on it.

Recommendations for use

Indications:

• acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx;
• adenoids;
• postoperative period (after operations on the nasal cavity);
• allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially in persons predisposed or suffering from hypersensitivity to preparations, including in pregnant women and during lactation);
• prevention and treatment as part of complex therapy for infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period (including in pregnant women and during lactation);
• dryness of the nasal mucosa; preservation of the physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in altered microclimatic conditions - in persons living and working in rooms with conditioned air and / or central heating; in people whose mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract is constantly exposed to harmful effects (smokers, vehicle drivers, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as in regions with harsh climatic conditions).

Compound

100 ml of solution contains 30 ml of Adriatic Sea water with natural trace elements and 70 ml of purified water.

Presence of ions:

Na + - not less than 2.50 mg / ml.

Ca2 + - not less than 0.08 mg / ml.

Mg2 + - not less than 0.35 mg / ml.

Cl- - not less than 5.50 mg / ml.

SO42- - not less than 0.60 mg / ml.

HCO3- - not less than 0.03 mg / ml.

Contains no preservatives.

Mode of application

Treatment: children from the first day of life - 4 times a day, 2 drops in each nasal passage. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the attending physician). It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.

Prevention: children from the first day of life spend the toilet in the form of instilling drops 2-3 times a day, 1-2 drops in each nasal passage.

To soften and remove contaminating accumulations and nasal secretions: instill in each nasal passage as much as the situation requires, eliminating the resulting excess fluid with cotton wool or a handkerchief. The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulations of dirt particles are successfully softened and removed.

Precautionary measures

Side effects - allergic reactions are possible.

Since the preparation does not have a systemic effect on the body, no interactions with other preparations have been observed. It can be used with other preparations used to treat the common cold.

For newborns, in order to avoid the risk of infection of the middle ear, instill the solution into the nasal cavity with caution, with minimal pressure on the bottle.

Do not use after the expiration date.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 2 years.
