Constipation of various origins (habitual and chronic constipation in bedridden patients, habitual constipation in the elderly, constipation after changing the diet, postoperative constipation and others). Intestinal emptying before diagnostic examinations and surgical procedures (e.g. rectoscopy, cholecystography, urography, abdominal X-ray diagnostics, radiographs of the lumbosacral spine).

Features:

Bisacodyl is a laxative and carminative agent that acts directly on the large intestine. By acting on the nerves in the intestinal wall, it intensifies intestinal contractions and stimulates peristaltic movements. The preparation also increases the amount of unabsorbed water and electrolytes in the large intestine, which enhances its laxative effect.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Acute abdominal syndrome (including intestinal obstruction, appendicitis), Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe dehydration.

Directions for use:

Adults and children over 10 years of age: Orally, 5 mg to 10 mg (1 to 2 tablets) once a day (usually at night).
Children aged 4 to 10 years: Orally, 5 mg (1 tablet) once a day (usually at night).
Children under 4 years of age: Use of the product in this age group is not recommended.
No dosage adjustment is necessary in the elderly and in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Take the tablets whole (do not chew or crush them), drink plenty of water.
