Product description

Simethicone contained in the preparation effectively reduces the surface tension of the walls of gas bubbles in the intestines, facilitates their joining and breaking. This improves gas expulsion and reduces the intestinal tension that causes pain. After oral administration, simeticone is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is completely excreted unchanged in the faeces.

Application

For infants from 28 days of age and children up to 12 years of age, to relieve symptoms such as colic, flatulence, a feeling of fullness, belching, indigestion related to the accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract; when preparing for diagnostic tests.

Usage method

Infants from the 28th day of life and children up to 2 years of age: 3 drops (20 mg of simethicone) before, during or after each meal, do not take more than 18 drops a day (120g of simethicone); children from 2 to 12 years of age: 6 drops (40 mg of simeticone) before, during or after each meal, do not take more than 36 drops a day (240 mg of simethicone).

Components

1 ml of the liquid contains 135 mg of simethicone and auxiliary substances. 3 drops contain 20 mg of simethicone and excipients.
