Doppelherz aktiv Osteo PRO is a dietary supplement containing ingredients that help maintain healthy bones. The preparation is intended for adults.

Composition

calcium carbonate, substance Filling: cellulose, magnesium oxide (Mg), substance filling: acacia and cross-linked cellulose gum; subst. anti-caking agents: talc, silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids; subst. Filling: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, dye: titanium dioxide, substance glazing: polyethylene glycol; cholecalciferol (vitamin D), phytomenadione (vitamin K).

Usage

1 tablet daily, preferably before a meal, which promotes better calcium absorption. The tablet can be divided. To achieve the desired effect, the preparation is usually used for a long time - if in doubt consult a doctor. People on a non-dairy diet: ask your doctor or dietitian for advice about long-term dietary supplementation.

Calcium and magnesium are building blocks of bones, while vitamins D and K promote bone strengthening.

Magnesium is an important building block of bones that helps strengthen them.

Vitamin K affects the action of osteogenic proteins (e.g. osteocalcin), which enable proper bone formation. Vitamin D improves the absorption and utilization of calcium, which also contributes to normal bone mineralization.

Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for bone fractures due to osteoporosis. Calcium and vitamin D help maintain normal bone mineral density (reduce its loss) in postmenopausal women.

Increased demand for calcium and vit. D may occur due to:

accumulating too little calcium in the bones in the past,
a diet low in dairy products (especially cheese),
poor sun exposure (e.g. use of sunblock creams), which limits natural vitamin production. D in the skin.

Warnings

Consult a physician for renal failure, nephrolithiasis or hyperparathyroidism. If you are using cardiac medicines or antibiotics, check the package leaflet of your medication whether it can be used with magnesium or calcium preparations or consult your pharmacist.
