Indications

Fever, pain of various origins, in the treatment of flu-like conditions and colds; for children weighing 15-24 kg (approximately 4 to 9 years old) and adults.

Composition

1 suppository contains 300 mg of paracetamol and an excipient: semi-synthetic glycerides.

Action

Analgesic, antipyretic.

Dosage

Rectally; the dose is based on body weight: recommended daily dose: 60 mg / kg body weight, divided into 4 doses of 15 mg / kg body weight. given every 6 hours. Children weighing 15-24 kg (approximately 4 to 9 years of age): the appropriate dose is 1 suppository (300 mg); it can be repeated every 6 hours if necessary; do not use more than 4 suppositories a day. Children and adults weighing more than 50 kg: the total dose of paracetamol must not exceed 4 g per day. Do not use the drug without a doctor's recommendation for more than 10 days in adults, and in children not longer than 3 days. It is not recommended to use suppositories during diarrhea.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation; severe liver or kidney failure; alcoholism; use with caution in patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency; use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding; if you have a deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, if you are treated with MAO inhibitors and within 14 days after stopping treatment; in the case of simultaneous use with analgesics with agonist-antagonistic action: buprenorphine, nalbuphine, pentazocine; if you have recently had inflammation of the anus, rectum or rectal bleeding.
