Orofar Max
Is a preparation used in topical antiseptic treatment of inflammation of the throat and mouth, as well as in alleviating pain in these conditions.
Dosage
Orally, the lozenge should be slowly sucked into the mouth. Do not chew or swallow. Do not use Orofar Max while eating or just before eating.Adults and children over 12 years of age: Acute inflammation of the mouth and throat: 1 tablet every 1 or 2 hours depending on the severity of the pain. Mild inflammation of the mouth and throat: 1 tablet every 2-3 hours depending on the severity of the pain. Do not use more than 6 lozenges a day.
Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet every 3 to 4 hours depending on the severity of the pain. Do not use more than 3 pills a day.
Composition
1 tablet: 2 mg cetylpyridinium chloride and 1 mg lidocaine hydrochloride and excipients: peppermint oil from peppermint leaves, Schimmel peppermint oil, levometol, acesulfame potassium, corn starch, citric acid monohydrate, macrogol 6000, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.Action
Cetylpyridinium chloride - a substance with antiseptic (disinfecting) properties that has bactericidal, antifungal and antiviral properties.Lidocaine hydrochloride - a substance with anesthetic properties that relieve pain.

Orofar Max should not be used in children under 6 years of age.Hypersensitivity to cetylpyridinium chloride, lidocaine hydrochloride, other local anesthetics from the amide group or to any of the excipients.
Side effects
Transient mouth and throat irritation may rarely occur, and nausea and vomiting may also occur.Allergic reactions such as skin rash may occur in individual cases.
Warnings and precautions
If your sore throat is associated with fever, dizziness, nausea or vomiting, talk to your doctor before taking Orofar MAX.Local anesthetics may cause temporary swallowing disorders and increase the risk of aspiration.
Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days without consulting a doctor.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Orofar MAX may only be used by pregnant women at the request of a doctor. Orofar MAX should not be used by breast-feeding women.
Orofar MAX has no effect on the ability to drive and use machines when used at the recommended doses.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Use of the preparation in children and adolescents
Can be used in adults and children over 6 years of age.
