Indications:

Chronic venous insufficiency (pain and swelling of the lower extremities, muscle spasms and sensory disturbances), lower leg varicose veins. Skin diseases of vascular origin, leg ulcers. Hemorrhoids. Supportive in microangiopathy in the course of diabetes

Features:

Preparation with protective effect on blood vessels. Rutosides reduce capillary permeability and increase their immunity by eliminating edema. They improve blood flow through the veins. They protect capillaries against the oxidative effects of active blood morphotic elements. The maximum blood concentration is detected 2-9 hours after administration. They are approximately 30% bound to plasma proteins. T0.5 is 13-25 hours. Metabolism occurs in the liver and excretion through the kidneys.

Usage:

Orally. Adults: 300 mg capsules: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks, then maintenance or if symptoms recur 1 capsule 2 times a day; in the treatment of rectal varices 2-6 capsules daily for 1-4 weeks; 500 mg tablets: 1 tablet 2 times a day for 3-4 weeks, then maintenance or if symptoms recur 1 tabl. once a day. The preparation should be swallowed whole with a meal.

Composition:

1 capsule contains 300 mg; 1 tablet forte contains 500 mg of oxerutin in the form of a standardized mixture of & -hydroxyethyl rutosides.
