Indications:

Supplementing the diet with vitamin D3, especially in the fall and winter; intended for adolescents and adults.

Properties:

Vitamin D is involved in many processes in the body. It helps in maintaining healthy bones and teeth. It facilitates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the gastrointestinal tract, and supports the maintenance of the correct level of calcium in the blood. It is essential for the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system. Vitamin D is produced in the skin under the influence of UV sun radiation.

Vitamin D supplementation is recommended:

- in the autumn and winter period (from October to April), when sunlight is insufficient to produce adequate amounts of vitamin D;

- in summer it may be recommended due to frequent indoor activities and lack of outdoor activity. Vitamin D production is hampered by the use of sunscreen, avoidance of sun exposure and air pollution;

- for the elderly, due to the fact that the content of vitamin D in the body decreases with age, and the daily diet does not provide enough of it.

Recommended daily intake:

1 capsule daily with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
