Indications:

symptomatic treatment of inflammation of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses.

Composition:

1 ml of solution contains: 550 micrograms of xylometazoline hydrochloride (Xylometazolini hydrochloridum) and excipients: sodium acetate anhydrous, acetic acid, sodium chloride, benzalkonium bromide, purified water.

Action:

reducing swelling and congestion of the nasal mucosa, leading to opening the nose and facilitating nasal breathing and reducing the amount of residual secretions.

Dosage:

The recommended dose is: children over 6 years of age and adults: 1 to 2 doses in each nostril every 8 hours for 3 to 5 days. Before administering the drug, clean the nose, remove the protective cap from the bottle, hold the bottle in an upright position with the applicator facing up, insert the applicator tip into the nostril and press down. Keep your eyes and mouth closed during this time, put on the protective cap after use. Long-term use of the drug may worsen the symptoms of nasal blockage.

Contraindications:

hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, narrow-angle cave, hypersensitivity to adrenergic drugs, taking MAO inhibitors, taking tricyclic antidepressants, atrophic rhinitis, after pituitary removal and surgical procedures with exposed dura mater.
