Indications

Treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, in which it is required to reduce the viscosity of sputum, improve its discharge and expectoration.

Application

ACC Long for adults and children over the age of 14 is prescribed 600 mg (1 tablet) 1 time per day.

For children under the age of 14 and in cases where the dose should be divided into several doses, ACC is used in a different dosage form or in an appropriate dosage.

The preparation is taken after meals. Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water and drink the solution as quickly as possible. In some cases, due to the presence of a stabilizer in the composition of the preparation - ascorbic acid, the prepared solution can be left for about 2 hours until the moment of its application. Additional fluid intake enhances the mucolytic effect of the preparation.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, depending on the nature of the disease (acute or chronic). The preparation should not be taken for more than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.

ACC Long Lemon for adults and children over the age of 12 is prescribed one effervescent tablet 1 time per day (equivalent to a daily dose of 600 mg ACC).

For children under the age of 12 and in cases where the daily dose should be divided into several doses, ACC is used in a different dosage form or in an appropriate dosage.

Effervescent tablets are dissolved in a glass of water and drunk after meals. You cannot enter other preparations into this solution. After preparing the solution, it must be drunk as soon as possible. In some cases, due to the presence of a stabilizer in the composition of the preparation - ascorbic acid, the prepared solution can be left for about 2 hours until the moment of its application.

Paracetamol overdose. In the first 10 hours after taking a toxic substance, ACTS® Long Lemon is taken as soon as possible at the rate of 140 mg / kg of body weight, then at the rate of 70 mg / kg every 4 hours for 1-3 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ACC or other components of the preparation. hepatitis, renal failure (in order to avoid an increase in the content of nitrogen-containing substances in the body). ulcers of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage, hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage.

Overdose

So far, no cases of severe and life-threatening side effects have been observed even with significant overdose. the volunteers took 11.6 g acz per day for 3 months without any serious side effects. oral doses of ACC up to 500 mg / kg / day were tolerated without symptoms of intoxication.

Overdose can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. There is a risk of hypersecretion in children.

There is no specific antidote for ACC poisoning, therapy is symptomatic.
