Altayka Halychpharm is an effective expectorant, the action of which is due to secretolytic and bronchodilator properties. the preparation has a moderate antitussive effect, reduces the number of coughing attacks and their intensity. normalizes altered bronchopulmonary secretion, improves sputum excretion: reduces its viscosity and adhesive properties, facilitates the movement of sputum from the lower to the upper respiratory tract and its expectoration.

Altayka Halychpharm is non-toxic and does not have a local irritating effect.

Cough in acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by the formation of thick and viscous bronchial secretions and / or impaired expectoration: bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchiectasis, bronchial asthma.

Adults and children over the age of 12 are prescribed 1 tablet 3-4 times a day before meals. the tablets should be chewed and washed down with a little water.

Single dose for children aged 3–12 years - 1 tablet.

The course of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the form of the disease and usually ranges from 7 days to 1-2 months.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

In some cases, allergic reactions are possible, including hives, itching. in case of any undesirable reactions, you should stop using the preparation and consult a doctor.

Sometimes in patients with chronic inflammatory lung diseases at the beginning of treatment with Altayka Halychpharm, the viscosity of sputum may increase due to the separation of sputum accumulated in the bronchial tree and containing a large amount of detritus, proteins and inflammatory elements. therefore, with diffuse damage to the bronchi, significant changes in the physicochemical properties of sputum and a decrease in mucociliary transport, therapy with Altayka Halychpharm must be combined with the appointment of mucolytic preparations (bromhexine).

The preparation contains sucrose, which should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. Also, it should not be prescribed to patients with such rare hereditary diseases as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Given the content of aspartame in the composition, it should not be used in patients with phenylketonuria.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. There is no experience of use in pregnant women and during lactation.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving and working with other mechanisms. Does not affect.

Children. The preparation is not used in children under 3 years of age.

Currently, there is no data on preparation interactions of the preparation Altayka Halychpharm. should not be administered concurrently with cough suppressants (codeine). the preparation  can be taken simultaneously with other expectorants.

When using the preparation in the indicated therapeutic doses, overdose is impossible. with prolonged use or overdose, nausea and vomiting may occur. symptomatic therapy.
