Antonio Sella

The A. Sella Chemical Pharmaceutical Laboratory produces about 90% of the products it markets on its own, taking care of the entire production process, from the procurement of raw materials to distribution in pharmacies and hospitals.

Designed for the health and well-being of people, our products are present throughout the national territory, through a commercial network that has about sixty agents, many of whom are sole agents.

About eighty employees work within the company, divided into two production units: one specialized in the production of drugs and the other in the food-dietary sector.

The entire production of the Sella Laboratory follows the Good Manufacturing Standards for medicinal products.

The price list includes four major product groups:

galenic and generic medicines (micro-enemas, syrups, solutions, tinctures, paracetamol, sodium bicarbonate tablets, etc)

over the counter specialties (Tussibron, Remystick)

food supplements (Bioton line and Biolactine line)

cosmetic lines for skin care and cleansing (Hoffmann and Derigyn paste)

The Sella offer is also enriched by a series of specific products for the summer (mosquito line)

and for the winter (propolis line).

Contract Manufacturing

In recent years, Contract Manufacturing has also developed.

An ever increasing part of the production capacity is absorbed by the production of medicinal specialties, supplements and cosmetics on behalf of national and foreign pharmaceutical companies.

In fact, the Sella Laboratory is projected towards new goals by aiming to achieve excellence in the various sectors in which it operates and to satisfy and occupy ever larger market shares. We operate mainly in the national market but for many years we have also maintained commercial relations with France, Germany, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Switzerland and the United States.

photovoltaic Sella

After the expansion in 2010, a photovoltaic system was put into operation on the roof of the new building capable of capturing solar radiation during the day and transforming it into electricity. The annual energy production, expected to be 77,000 kWh, will make it possible to avoid the emission of 50 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere per year, also contributing to the reduction of electricity purchased outside.

It should be borne in mind that the scientific community is now in agreement in pointing to carbon dioxide (CO2) as the main cause of global climate warming. The Sella Laboratory, which has always been attentive to the problems of people's health and well-being, is happy to participate in this way in safeguarding the planet.

The A. Sella Chemical Pharmaceutical Laboratory supports and supports the O.N.G. DOCTORS WITH AFRICA CUAMM is a non-governmental organization founded in Padua in 1950 that is committed to respecting the human right to health and to making access to health rights available to all. Born with the aim of training doctors for developing countries, CUAMM now operates in particular in Africa, with long-term health cooperation programs.
