Product description

Proctinum® is a medical device in the form of a delicate and light hydrophilic emulsion. The preparation supports the alleviation of symptoms related to the occurrence of external and internal hemorrhoids and irritation of the anus.

How does Proctinum® emulsion work?

The preparation creates a physical barrier that allows to protect the tissue around the anus, which minimizes the risk of bacterial colonization and contact with environmental contaminants that can exacerbate the condition of hemorrhoids. The use of Proctinum® emulsion supports the physiological reconstruction of the anus area and provides adequate protection, hydration and refreshment. In addition, the medical device has softening properties, thanks to which it soothes irritation and discomfort around the anus, which may be manifested by pain, burning and itching.
The use of Proctinum® emulsion leaves the treated area in a condition that avoids re-irritation and cracking of the skin. In addition, the moisturizing effect facilitates defecation, which significantly minimizes injuries and pain associated with defecation.

Application

It brings relief in symptoms related to hemorrhoids and irritation of the anal area.
It soothes pain, itching and burning.

Usage method

External application
Proctinum® emulsion can be applied to the skin around the anus.
For this purpose, a small amount of the preparation should be applied to the finger and gently rubbed into the skin at the anus, especially before defecation, in order to facilitate defecation.
Before application, always thoroughly wash your hands and the area to which the product is to be applied.
Internal application
Apply to the anal canal and around the anus to relieve symptoms associated with the occurrence of hemorrhoids and irritation of the anus.

Use the product as needed, maximum 3-4 times a day.
Before using the product for the first time, unscrew the tube cap and use the outside to pierce the closure of the tube.
Screw the applicator over the opening of the tube and gently place it into the anus (you can also apply a thin layer of the product to the edge of the applicator to facilitate its insertion into the anus).
Squeeze the tube to squeeze enough emulsion out of it.
After use, clean the applicator thoroughly with a wet paper towel and let it dry.

Water, vegetable oil, liquid paraffin, petrolatum, Cetearet-20, cetearyl alcohol, hydrogenated starch hydrolyzate, sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil), isostearyl alcohol, PEG-75 stearate, glycerol stearate, propylene glycol, dimethicone, PEG- 8 stearate, isodecyl laurate, horse chestnut seed extract (Aesculus Hippocastanum Seed Extract), glycyrrhizinic acid dipotassium salt, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, oleyl alcohol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrogenated Glycyrrhizinate, Potassium Glycyrrhizinate maltodextrin, allantoin, paraffin, disodium edetic acid salt, Sichuan pepper fruit extract (Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Fruit Extract), lactic acid, butylene glycol, LAURETH-3, hydroxyethyl cellulose, tocopherol, cetyl ester Acetyl Dipeptide-1.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.
If in doubt, apply a small amount of the product to the inside of the forearm. If redness and irritating spots appear, it is not recommended to use the product.
If you experience any side effects or symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Important tips

The product is intended for individual use only, do not share it with others.
Store in a dry place away from direct light, at room temperature (5-30 ° C), out of the reach of children.
Do not use if the tube is damaged.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
Do not eat it.
Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of eye contact with the product: rinse the eye thoroughly with water and, if necessary, consult a doctor.
If symptoms persist after 30 days of using the preparation, consult a doctor.
