Indications:

Ascalcin PLUS raspberry flavor is a preparation indicated for use in the treatment of symptoms of colds and flu, relieving fever, reducing muscle and joint pain, headaches (including migraine pain), toothache and neuralgia. The preparation is suitable for adolescents over 12 years of age and adults.

Properties:

Ascalcin PLUS is a preparation containing acetylsalicylic acid, ascorbic acid and calcium. Due to the content of these substances, it is characterized by antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Acetylsalicylic acid belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations and has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. In turn, vitamin C and calcium have a positive effect on the proper functioning of the blood vessel walls. They reduce their permeability, have anti-exudative and anti-swelling properties. Additionally, vitamin C supports the proper functioning of the immune system. The patented composition of the preparation enables the administration of three substances to patients simultaneously, the use of which is crucial in the treatment and prevention of flu and colds. The form of the preparation  in the form of an effervescent powder to be dissolved in water and high doses of active substances allow for effective and quick elimination of the disease. The preparation does not contain sugar and has a pleasant raspberry flavor.

Ingredients:

One sachet contains: acetylsalicylic acid - 500 mg;

ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - 300 mg;

calcium (in the form of calcium lactogluconate) - 200 mg;

other ingredients: sodium bicarbonate, anhydrous citric acid, povidone K-25, raspberry flavor, aspartame, beta-carotene 1%, sodium lauryl sulfate.

Use:

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:

- adults: 1 or 2 sachets 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 6 sachets;

- elderly patients (over 65 years of age): 1 sachet 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 3 sachets;

- children over 12 years of age: 1 sachet 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 3 sachets.

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 1/2 cup of lukewarm water, mix and drink.

It is best to take the preparation after a meal.

Do not use for more than 3 to 5 days without consulting a doctor.

Important information:

Ascalcin PLUS should not be used:

- if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of the preparation;

- in the case of active gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract;

- in the case of hemorrhagic diathesis, blood coagulation disorders, use of anticoagulants;

- in case of acid-base imbalance;

- if you have severely high levels of calcium in your blood - if you have asthma and nasal polyps;

- in severe renal, hepatic and heart failure; - during pregnancy and breastfeeding;

- in patients with phenylketonuria and in children under 12 years of age in the course of varicella and influenza.

The preparation should be stored at room temperature, out of the sight and reach of children.
