Pharmacodynamics. The preparation has a complex therapeutic effect due to the combination and mutual enhancement of the action of its active components. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, secretolytic and secretomotor effects, and also exhibits immunomodulatory and reparative effects.

The preparation reduces the severity of local exudative manifestations, eliminates edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, without causing irritation, reactive hyperemia or a feeling of dryness in the nasal cavity. Promotes liquefaction and discharge of pathologically thick mucus. Restores the function of mucociliary clearance, namely, accelerates the cleansing of the mucous membrane from mucopurulent discharge and crusts, accelerates the healing process, increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the penetration of pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Reduces the risk of developing purulent complications of acute catarrhal rhinosinusitis.

Not addictive with long-term treatment.

Eliminates the manifestations of the asthenic symptom complex of infectious-toxic and hypoxic genesis. Increases the body's nonspecific resistance to infections, including when using antibacterial therapy, prevents repeated exacerbations of sinusitis, rhinitis.

Pharmacokinetics. Has not been investigated.

Treatment of acute and chronic rhinosinusitis (sinusitis, frontal sinusitis, ethmoiditis, sphenoiditis, combined sinusitis). chronic rhinitis and laryngotracheitis. in the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the middle ear (including otitis media, eustachitis).

Adults and children over the age of 12: 10 drops of the preparation, diluted in a small amount of water;

children aged 3–12 years: 5 drops of the preparation, diluted in a small amount of water.

Take 3 times a day.

At the beginning of treatment, as well as in cases where a rapid decrease in the severity of symptoms is necessary, it is possible to take the preparation every 30 min – 1 h up to 8 times a day until the condition improves, but no more than 3 days, after which it can be taken 3 times a day.

To achieve the maximum effect, it is recommended to take Asinis between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal). To increase the effectiveness, it is recommended to hold the preparation in the mouth for some time before swallowing.

If the severity of symptoms increases or if there is no improvement after 7 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.

A course of treatment. In acute rhinosinusitis, the main course of treatment is 1-2 weeks. In chronic rhinitis, sinusitis or laryngotracheitis, depending on the course and duration of the disease - 1-2 months.

Prevention of exacerbations of chronic sinusitis or laryngotracheitis during the period of increased incidence of acute respiratory viral infections or influenza - 1–1.5 months.

If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated (after consulting a doctor).

Children. The preparation is used in children aged 3 years and older. There is no experience of using the preparation in children under 3 years of age.

Hypersensitivity to chromium or any component of the preparation.

In exceptional cases, individuals with hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation may experience allergic reactions.

In isolated cases, there may be reactions from the skin, increased salivation. In such cases, the preparation should be discontinued. There is no information on the incidence of adverse reactions.

Asinis oral drops should not be used in patients with alcohol dependence, since one dose (5/10 drops) contains 80/160 mg of alcohol.

The alcohol content should also be taken into account when using the preparation during pregnancy, lactation, in children and patients with a high risk of liver disease and the risk of epileptic seizures.

If the body temperature rises, bloody or purulent discharge appears, you should consult your doctor.

At the beginning of treatment with the preparation , the existing symptoms of the disease may temporarily worsen (primary reaction). This reaction is usually not harmful. If symptoms persist, the preparation should be discontinued. After the disappearance of the primary reaction, the preparation can be used again. In case of repeated exacerbation of symptoms, the use of the preparation should be discontinued.

Long-term treatment with homeopathic medicines should be supervised by a physician with experience in the use of homeopathic medicines, since symptoms that are not indicated in the instructions for medical use may occur.

The preparation Asinis oral drops contains traces of lactose monohydrate. This amount poses no risk to patients with lactose intolerance. Patients with rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should not take this preparation.
