Attento 40/10 tablets are indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension.

Active ingredients: olmesartan medoxomil; amlodipine besilate;

1 tablet contains olmesartan medoxomil 40 mg and amlodipine besylate 12.888 mg (equivalent to amlodipine 10 mg);

Excipients: corn starch (corn), microcrystalline siliconized cellulose (contains 98% microcrystalline cellulose (Ph. Eur.) and 2% anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide (Ph. Eur.)), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate;

Film shell: Opadry II 85F25467 red (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172), polyethylene glycol, talc).

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients, dihydropyridine derivatives or any of the excipients.

Pregnancy and pregnancy planning.

Severe liver failure and biliary obstruction.

The combined use of Attento and preparations containing aliskiren is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or impaired renal function (GFR < 60 ml / min / 1.73 m 2).

Due to the presence of amlodipine, Attento® is also contraindicated in patients who:

severe arterial hypotension;

shock (including cardiogenic shock);

violation of the outflow of blood from the left ventricle (for example, with severe aortic stenosis);

hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.

The tablets are swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, a glass of water). Tablets should not be chewed. The preparation is recommended to be taken daily at the same time.

Contraindicated.

Caution should be exercised, especially at the beginning of treatment.

Cases of overdose of Attento have not been recorded. The most likely effects of an overdose of olmesartan medoxomil are hypotension and tachycardia; bradycardia with parasympathetic stimulation (vagus nerve) is also possible. An overdose of amlodipine can lead to excessive expansion of peripheral vessels, accompanied by a pronounced decrease in blood pressure, and possibly reflex tachycardia. There are reports of prolonged severe generalized hypotension, up to fatal shock.

Treatment. If the preparation has been taken recently, gastric lavage is indicated. In healthy volunteers, the intake of activated charcoal immediately or within 2 hours after oral administration of amlodipine significantly reduces the absorption of this substance.

The most common adverse reactions that occurred with the use of the preparation Attento were peripheral edema (11.3%), headache (5.3%) and dizziness (4.5%).

The combined use of Attento and preparations containing aliskiren is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or impaired renal function (GFR < 60 ml / min / 1.73 m 2).

Special storage conditions are not required.
