Product description

Benfogamma is an over-the-counter medicine used to prevent and treat the effects of vitamin B1 deficiency in the body. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) deficiency can occur as a result of an improper diet, poor in vitamin B1, fasting and hemodialysis. A deficit of thiamine in the body can also occur in chronic alcoholism, as alcohol blocks its absorption. Each Benfogamma tablet contains a dose of 50 mg benfotiamine (active ingredient). Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1, which positively affects the level of its absorption. After benfotiamine is absorbed by the body, it transforms into thiamine.
