Bimican Eco eye drops are indicated for lowering elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with chronic open-angle glaucoma and intraocular hypertension (as monotherapy or additional therapy to beta-blockers).

Active substance: bimatoprost;

1 ml of solution contains - 0.3 mg of bimatoprost;

Excipients: sodium phosphate dodecahydrate; citric acid monohydrate, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, 10% solution, highly purified water.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or auxiliary substances included in the composition of the preparation.

Only for local use in ophthalmology.

When applying naso-lacrimal occlusion or closing the eyelid for 2 minutes, systemic absorption decreases. This can reduce systemic side effects and increase the local activity of the preparation.

If you use more than one local ophthalmic preparation, you must take a five-minute break between each instillation. Eye ointments should be applied last.

Apply to adults: instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) once a day in the evening.

The dose should not exceed 1 injection once a day, as more frequent use of the preparation may reduce the effect of lowering increased intraocular pressure.

Bimatoprost should not be used during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.

Contraindicated.

Bimatoprost has a minor effect on the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or working with other mechanisms. As with the use of other eye drops, if temporary blurring of vision occurs after instillation, the patient must wait until the vision clears before driving a vehicle or working with complex mechanisms.

Cases of overdose of Bimikan Eco have not been reported. With local application in the form of eye drops, overdose is unlikely.

In case of overdose, supportive and symptomatic therapy is required.

From the side of the nervous system: headache, dizziness.

On the part of the organ of vision: conjunctival hyperemia, (superficial) punctate keratitis, eye irritation, sensation of a foreign body in the eye, dry eyes, eye pain, itching, increased eyelash growth, eyelid redness, asthenopia, conjunctival edema, photophobia , lacrimation, hyperpigmentation of the iris, visual disturbance / blurred vision, eyelid itching, eyelid swelling, corneal erosion, burning sensation in the eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, blepharitis, visual acuity deterioration, eye discharge, eyelash darkening, retinal hemorrhages, blepharospasm, eyelid retraction, conjunctival disorders, madarosis (loss of eyelashes or eyebrows), eyelid pigmentation, eye swelling, uveitis, iritis.

From the side of the cardiovascular system: arterial hypertension.

Gastrointestinal tract: nausea.

From the side of the skin and its derivatives: hyperpigmentation of the skin (periorbital area), hypertrichosis (pathological hair growth), redness of the periorbital area, dryness of the skin, formation of a crust on the edge of the eyelids, itching.

From the respiratory system and mediastinal organs: asthma, exacerbation of bronchial asthma, exacerbation of COPD and shortness of breath.

On the part of the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including signs and symptoms of ocular allergy and allergic dermatitis.

General disorders and changes at the injection site: asthenia, irritation at the instillation site.

Interaction studies were not conducted.
