Bioaron System (formerly Bioaron C) is a medicine in the form of a syrup, which is a combination of two active substances: water extract from fresh leaves of aloe vera (Aloes arborescentis recentis extractum fluidum) and vitamin C (Acidum ascorbicum). The preparation can be used as an auxiliary in the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract infections of various etiologies. In addition, the preparation can also be used as an aid in the event of a lack of appetite. Bioaron syrup is intended for children over 3 years of age as well as for adolescents and adults.

Bioaron System is a medicinal preparation for traditional use, the effectiveness of which is based solely on long-term use and experience. The preparation supports the fight against infections of both bacterial and viral origin, contributing to the shortening of their duration. At the same time, it helps to relieve the symptoms of the disease and restores the proper functioning of the immune system. Prophylactic use of the preparation reduces the incidence of respiratory infections. In addition, the medicinal product may also stimulate the appetite, which was confirmed in observational studies in children.

Indications

As an auxiliary:

• in the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, including the treatment of colds in children and adults,
• in the absence of appetite in children.

Composition

5 ml of syrup contains:

• active substances: water extract from fresh leaves of tree aloe (Aloes arborescentis recentis extractum fluidum) 1920 mg and vitamin C (Acidum ascorbicum) 51 g,
• excipients: sucrose, concentrated chokeberry juice, sodium benzoate, purified water.

Action

The preparation stimulates the weakened immunity of the body, which makes it easier to fight bacterial and viral infections.

Dosage

Incidentally in infections of the upper respiratory tract

Adults, adolescents and children from 7 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day, 3 times a day, 5 ml each,

Children aged 3-6: 5 m of syrup 2 times a day.

Prophylactically during non-infectious periods

Adults, adolescents and children from 7 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day, 3 times a day, 5 ml each,

Children aged 3-6: 5 m of syrup 2 times a day.

The preparation should be taken orally, before a meal for a period of 14 days, then take a 14-day break and repeat the entire cycle.

Incidentally, in the absence of appetite

Children over 3 years of age: 5 ml of syrup once a day before the main meal.

The preparation should be taken for 14 days. If there is no improvement or worsening of symptoms after 14 days, consult your doctor. The administration of the preparation can be repeated after a 14-day break.

Contraindications

Allergic to aloe vera, vitamin C or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

Concomitant use of immunosuppressive preparations (suppressing the immune system response).

Rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency.

Do not use:

• in children under 3 years of age,
• during cancer chemotherapy.

Storage

Keep out of the reach and sight of children, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.

Side effects

Bioaron System, like any other preparation, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Uncommon (≥1 / 1,000 to <1/100):

• allergic reactions.

Rare (≥1 / 10,000 to <1 / 1,000):

• gastric / dyspeptic symptoms.

Interactions

Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations that the patient is taking now or recently, and about the preparations that the patient is going to take.

No interactions with other preparations have been observed at recommended doses.

Warnings and Precautions

The doctor should decide on the use of the preparation in the case of:

• tendency to allergies,
• systemic diseases or autoimmune diseases,
• known high levels of immunoglobulins in the blood.

Information for people with diabetes: a single dose of the product (5 ml) contains about 3.93 g of sucrose.

The product contains 6.6 mg of sodium benzoate per single dose (5 ml).

Taking into account the mechanism of action, the preparation should not be used immediately after preventive vaccinations and an interval of at least 2 weeks should be observed.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Due to the lack of data on the use of aloe vera extract in pregnant and lactating women, the administration of the preparation is not recommended.

Animal studies did not show a negative effect of aloe vera extract on the development of the fetus and the course of pregnancy.

No toxic effects on the functions of the reproductive system have been demonstrated.

The effect of the preparation on fertility has not been established.a

Taking into account the composition of the preparation, it is considered that it does not adversely affect driving vehicles and operating machinery.
