Product description

BioGaia ProTectis - clinically proven to help restore beneficial microflora. The efficacy and safety of L. reuteri Protectis® for humans have been confirmed in clinical studies conducted in Europe, America, Japan, Ukraine with the participation of people of different ages.

L. reuteri Protectis® is a strain that meets the current requirements of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and WHO (2002) to probiotics.

L.reuteri Protectis® are naturally occurring microorganisms that were first isolated from breast milk and are normally present in the human body throughout the gastrointestinal tract.

L.reuteri Protectis® colonize the epithelium and multiply in all parts of the gastrointestinal tract, starting with the oral cavity. L. reuteri is resistant to the action of gastric juice, bile salts and enzymes of the upper small intestine.

L.reuteri Protectis® maintain and regulate the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora and are actively involved in digestion processes.

L.reuteri Protectis® synthesize lactic, acetic acids and specific substances for this type of lactobacilli - reuterin and reuterocycline, which suppress the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms in the digestive tract. Strengthening the natural defense of the digestive system against pathogenic microorganisms, they create favorable conditions for the formation of normal intestinal microbiocenosis.

L. reuteri Protectis® have antagonistic activity against H. pylori, and also reduce the side effects of antibiotic therapy in gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.

The immunostimulating effect of L. reuteri Protectis® is associated with the ability to activate the intestinal immune system as the body's first line of defense against infections by increasing the number of CD4 + cells (a specific subgroup of T-lymphocytes).

BioGaia ProTectis contributes to:

• restoration of the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract;

• improving intestinal motility;

• protection of the body from infections (with reduced immunity);

• facilitating the course of allergic conditions (in particular, with diathesis in children, atopic dermatitis);

• improving the functional state of the body in case of Helicobacter pylori infection.

Recommendations for use

Use as a dietary supplement for children from 3 years of age and adults as an additional source of viable lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis®).

Should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Before starting the appointment, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis®: normalizes the intestinal microflora, colonizes the epithelium and multiplies in all parts of the gastrointestinal tract, starting from the oral cavity; help to improve intestinal motility. Produce reuterin and reterocycline, inhibit the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms; activate the immune system, increase the number of CD4 + cells (a group of T-lymphocytes), thereby helping to protect the body from infections.

Mode of application

Use for children over 3 years old and for adults 1 tablet a day, regardless of food intake. It is recommended to dissolve or chew the tablet. The course and timing of consumption is determined by the doctor individually. The dose may be increased by your doctor. Exceed the recommended amount for daily consumption.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to product components. With the simultaneous use of any preparations, a doctor's consultation is recommended.
