Biotrue ONEday from Bausch and Lomb are daily disposable contact lenses. The construction of these lenses is based on the natural environment of the eye and is adapted to the conditions on the surface of the eye and the movements of the eyeball. This makes them comfortable to wear all day. In addition, high oxygen permeability and high water content ensure that the lenses provide the cornea with enough oxygen, and wearing the lenses is practically imperceptible.

The creators of the Biotrue ONEday lenses used the high performance of the HyperGel material, which combines a classic hydrogel with a silicone hydrogel - this combination guarantees a very high water content and maximum oxygen permeability. HyperGel technology is based on active molecules found in the upper layer of the lens material. These molecules form a lipid layer that retains water, and the lenses remain pleasantly hydrated and maintain their exceptional optical properties throughout the wearing period. The water content is 78%, which corresponds to the percentage of water in the cornea.

Biotrue ONEday contact lenses also contain UV filters that partially protect the eyes from UVA and UVB radiation. Please note that even contact lenses with a UV filter cannot fully replace sunglasses, as they do not cover the entire surface of the eye.
