Product description

Stodal syrup is a homeopathic medicine used in the treatment of cough of various origins accompanying infections of the upper respiratory tract. It is packed in a 200 ml glass bottle with an attached dosing cup.

Indications

Treatment of cough of various origins.

Composition

100g of syrup contains:

active substances: pulsatilla 6CH 0.95g, rumex crispus 6CH 0.95g, bryonia 3CH 0.95g, ipeca 3CH 0.95g, spongia toast 3CH 0.95g, sticta pulmonaria 3CH 0.95g, antimonium tartaricum 6CH 0.95 g, Myocardium 6CH 0.95g, Coccus cacti 3CH 0.95g, Drosera TM 0.95g

other ingredients: caramel, benzoic acid, ethanol, Tolutan syrup, cross syrup, sucrose solution.

Action

The preparation relieves cough of various origins.

Dosage

Children under 6 years of age: as indicated by the doctor.

Children over 6 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 3-5 times a day.

Adults: 15 ml of syrup 3-5 times a day.

Contraindications

Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

People with alcoholism.

Storage

Store below 25˚C.

Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box and bottle.

The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.

Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines no longer required. Such behavior will help to protect the environment.

Side effects

Stodal can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations taken by the patient now or recently, as well as about the preparations that the patient is planning to take.

In the event of fever above 39˚C, persistent cough, shortness of breath or other disturbing symptoms, contact a doctor.

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using the syrup in children under 6 years of age.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should ask their doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Patients with liver disease or epilepsy should consult a doctor.

Due to the sucrose content, use with caution in diabetic patients.
