Product description

Cetrimac will provide symptomatic treatment for allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

Compound

Active ingredient: levocetirizine dihydrochloride, 1 tablet contains 5 mg.

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, coating: hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or to any other component of the preparation or to any piperazine derivatives.

Severe chronic renal failure.

Rare hereditary conditions of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or impaired absorption of glucose and galactose.

Mode of application

Take with or without food with a little water.

Adults and children over 12 years old 1 tablet 1 time per day, in the evening.

For some patients, 0.5 tablet once daily in the evening may be sufficient.

For children aged 6 to 11 years, the recommended dose of levocetirizine is 2.5 mg once a day in the evening.

The dose of 2.5 mg should not be exceeded, since the systemic exposure of 5 mg is approximately twice that of adults.

For patients with chronic renal failure, the dose calculation must be carried out taking into account creatinine clearance in accordance with the table from the instructions.

Levocetirizine is contraindicated during pregnancy.

Cetirizine passes into breast milk, therefore, if necessary, use of the preparation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

For drivers

You should refrain from driving vehicles or working with mechanisms for the period of treatment.

Overdose

Overdose symptoms may include drowsiness in adults and initial agitation and irritability followed by drowsiness in children.

Consideration should be given to the need for gastric lavage shortly after taking the preparation.

Hemodialysis is not effective for removing levocetirizine from the body.
