Indications

For the treatment of mild to moderate forms of mycosis affecting less than 50% of the nail surface in up to 4 out of 10 nails.

Composition

1 g of varnish contains 80 mg / g of cyclopirox. Excipients: copolymer of methyl vinyl ether and maleic acid monobutyl ester, ethyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol.

Action

Antifungal.

Dosage

First month: apply a thin layer of varnish every other day. Second month: apply a thin layer of varnish every third day. Use every third day from the third month onwards.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Do not use the preparation if the nails are significantly damaged, the lesions cover more than 50% of the nail surface and more than 4 nails, the changes are very severe or there are new lesions on the remaining nails, there are erythematous, exfoliating lesions on the skin. around the affected nails. Contact your doctor if you have diabetes mellitus, circulation problems in the hands and feet, if you suffer from immunosuppression caused by disorders of the immune system (e.g. HIV infection, patients after transplantation, patients receiving concomitant corticosteroids, patients with recurrent or long-lasting shingles or herpes), if the nail plate is damaged, if you have skin diseases such as psoriasis or other chronic skin diseases, if you have yellow nail syndrome (a syndrome of excessive accumulation of fluid in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, slowly growing, yellow fingernails and chronic respiratory disorders).
