Indication
Cocarboxylase-forte tablets are indicated as part of complex treatment:
- diabetes and its complications;
- liver diseases regardless of etiology, to increase the activity of hepatocytes to various pathological effects (viral, inflammatory, intoxication);
- liver failure;
- ischemic heart disease;
- peripheral neuritis;
- inflammatory and toxic lesions of the heart muscle (myocarditis);
- Myocardiopathy.
Storage
Active substance: cocarboxylase;
1 tablet contains thiamine pyrophosphate chloride aminoacetate-magnesium (II) potassium salt trihydrate in terms of 100% substance 25 mg or 50 mg;
Excipients: lactose, monohydrate; microcrystalline cellulose; powdered sugar; calcium stearate
Contraindication
Increased sensitivity to the drug.
Application method
In each case, the method and dosage of the drug is determined by the doctor individually.
Adults and children from 12 years of age usually take tablets under the tongue, holding in the mouth until complete absorption, 3-4 times a day. It is also possible to take the drug orally 10-15 minutes before eating, 3-4 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is usually 20-30 days.
Features of application

The effectiveness and safety of the use of cocarboxylase hydrochloride during pregnancy or breastfeeding have not been established, therefore the drug is not recommended to be prescribed during this period.
Children
The effectiveness and safety of the use of cocarboxylase in children under 12 years old have not been studied, so the drug is not recommended to be prescribed to this age group of patients.
Overdose
It is possible to increase the manifestations of increased individual sensitivity to the drug. Overdose may manifest itself in the form of a more pronounced form of adverse reactions.
It is recommended to stop using the drug; symptomatic treatment aimed at normalizing breathing and the activity of the cardiovascular system.
Side effects
The drug is well tolerated, side effects develop very rarely. In some cases, people with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug may develop allergic reactions (hives, skin rashes, itching) when using it. In this case, the dose should be reduced or the drug should be stopped. After discontinuation of the drug, all side effects quickly disappear.
Interaction
With the simultaneous use of Cocarboxylase-Forte with sugar-lowering agents, it is necessary to take into account the increase in their activity.
Cocarboxylase enhances the cardiotonic effect of cardiac glycosides and improves their tolerability.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 15 °C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
