DAILIES AquaComfort Plus Toric daily contact lenses are equipped with a triple hydration system that stays in the lens throughout the day. The first component is a moisturizing substance, the so-called HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), which is also found in the contact lens solution blister where the lens is placed. This ingredient is activated immediately after inserting the lens. The second moisturizing ingredient is the material from which the lenses are made. It contains a compound of PEG hydrogel (Polyethylene glycol) and PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) moisturizing substance, which is activated in the lens every time you blink. An interesting fact is that the average person blinks 11,000 times a day!
