Active ingredients

Deflu® Defense Zinc tablets contain zinc glycinate - chelated zinc compounds and the amino acid glycine. Chelated forms of zinc are better absorbed in the intestines, even in conditions when the absorption of zinc is impaired.

Vitamin D3 affects the activity of cells of the immune system, participates in the functioning of innate and acquired immunity, and helps to eliminate the inflammatory process.

Vitamin D3 deficiency is a risk factor for the development of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The possibility of prophylactic use of vitamin D3 during the SARS and influenza season is associated with the stimulation of the synthesis of antimicrobial proteins that can destroy microbial pathogens, including viruses.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant. During illness, under conditions of increased oxidative stress, a sufficient concentration of vitamin C is a prerequisite for the fight of the immune system against viruses and bacteria.

Deficiency of zinc, vitamins D3, C, E, group B is one of the common causes of dysfunction of the immune system. A sufficient concentration of vitamins D3, C, E, group B is important for maintaining immunity, the formation of a full and adequate immune response.

Method of administration and recommended daily dose

Use for children aged 3 to 12 years, 1 tablet per day, for adults 1-2 tablets per day to relieve the course of acute viral infections during the season of colds, increase the body's resistance and improve the immune response. On the recommendation of a doctor, it is possible to use Deflu® Defense Zinc tablets 1 tablet every 2-3 hours for 3 days, the maximum daily dose is 6 tablets for children and adults.

The tablet must be sucked or chewed.

It is better to take the tablet between meals, in case of discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract Deflu® Defense Zinc tablets should be taken immediately before or during meals. To facilitate the course of acute viral infections during the season of colds, increase the body's resistance and improve the immune response during the season of colds, the recommended course is 1 month with a break of 1 month, then the course will be repeated throughout the season of increased incidence, unless the doctor has prescribed otherwise.

Exceed the recommended amount for daily consumption. Simultaneous use with preparations containing vitamins and / or zinc should be avoided. If you need a complex admission, be sure to consult your doctor.

Precautions

Zinc in Deflu® Defense Zinc tablets can cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract in the form of an unpleasant taste in the mouth, before that. To reduce the discomfort, the tablets should be taken without - immediately before or during meals.
