DISCH is a leader in the development of specialised, solid galenic formulations providing both manufacturing and packaging technologies for pharmaceuticals, special foods (nutraceuticals) and sweets. We work as a contract manufacturer for companies in the pharmaceutical industry as well as for a demanding clientele from the food industry and for large retail chains.

Pharmaceuticals and foods

DISCH can look back on 100 years of company history. Founded by Jakob Disch in 1903, the company specialised in food production. In 1967, DISCH concentrated on the production of hard candies and 1993 DISCH obtained a licence for the manufacturing of medications by the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (swissmedic).

Since 2003 DISCH has worked primarily in the pharmaceutical area. The production of pharmaceuticals and foods with specific requirements now makes up around 80% of our activities.
