Indications

The preparation is intended for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency states.

Composition

Active substance: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 1 ml of solution contains 100 mg of ascorbic acid, other ingredients: glycerol, purified water.

Action

Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron salts and inhibits free radical chain reactions. Vitamin C participates in the synthesis of collagen, the synthesis of catecholamines, the hydroxylation of steroids, tyrosine and exogenous substances.

Dosage

Children (from 28 days of age to the end of 23 months of age, 5 to 8 drops a day are administered, children from 24 months to the end of 11 years of age are given 10 drops a day, adolescents from 12 years of age are given 15 to 20 drops a day. Adults: 15-20 drops a day, in case of higher demand for vitamin C, the above-mentioned doses can be taken twice a day.

Contraindications

Allergy to ascorbic acid or to any of the ingredients of this preparation . If you have kidney stones, when uric acid levels are increased, if you have problems with the accumulation of iron in the body, or if you have a stomach ulcer.
