Indications

Drotafemme Forte is used:

- in contractile conditions of smooth muscles associated with diseases of the bile ducts: cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, peritivitis, bile duct inflammation, inflammation of the Vater's papilla,

- in contractile states of smooth muscles of the urinary tract:

kidney stones, ureterolithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis, painful urge to urinate

and supporting:

- in contractile states of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: gastric ulcer? and duodenal disease, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, in spasms of the gastric cardia and pylorus, irritable colon syndrome, spastic constipation, intestinal distension and pancreatitis,

- in gynecological diseases: in painful menstruation.

Composition

Each tablet contains 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride; the other ingredients are: tablet core: lactose monohydrate, maize starch, maltodextrin, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate; tablet coating: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, sodium saccharin (E954), macrogol 4000, quinoline yellow lake (E104), red iron oxide (E172).

Relaxing.

Dosage

Adults - daily dose: 120 to 240 mg, in 2-3 divided doses. If it is necessary to use Drotafemme Forte in children over 12 years of age: the maximum daily dose for children is 160 mg, divided into 2 - 4 doses.

Contraindications

Allergy to drotaverine or any of the other ingredients of this preparation, severe liver, kidney and heart failure, second-third degree atrioventricular block, in children under 12 years of age.
