ECHINACEA COMPOSITUM S INJECTION 

The preparation Echinacea compositum c has an immunomodulating, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effect, which is based on the activation of the body's defenses and the normalization of impaired functions due to substances of plant, mineral and animal origin, which are part of the preparation.

Indications

Comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory and purulent-infectious diseases of the mucous membranes, internal organs and skin with severe intoxication and frequent relapses.

Application

A single dose, which is also a daily dose: for adults and children over the age of 12 years - 2.2 ml, for children aged 1 year to 3 years - 0.6 ml; 3–6 years - 1.0 ml; 6-12 years old - 1.5 ml. apply 1-3 times a week in the form of a / m, s / c, a / c, and, if necessary, a / in (jet) injection, as well as at acupuncture points. the course of treatment is 2-6 weeks.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to plants of the family Asteraceae (including arnica, echinacea), poison ivy family, or other components of the preparation. tuberculosis, leukemia, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissues (collagenoses), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, blood system diseases, AIDS, HIV infection, immunosuppression or immunodeficiency of various etiologies and other chronic viral diseases.

Side effects

In very rare cases, gastrointestinal disturbances or skin reactions may occur, including several days after the start of the preparation.

During treatment with preparations containing Canadian Sanguinaria, isolated cases of an increase in the level of transaminases and bilirubin in the blood plasma were noted until the appearance of preparation  jaundice (preparation toxic hepatitis), which decreased or normalized after discontinuation of the preparation.

In very rare cases, individuals with hypersensitivity to plants of the family Asteraceae (including Arnica, Echinacea) may experience hypersensitivity reactions (up to anaphylactic reactions). Reactions at the injection site may temporarily occur, including redness, swelling, and pain.

After the use of preparations containing echinacea extract, reactions from the digestive tract (including nausea, abdominal pain) were noted; menstrual irregularities; acne, rash, itching, urticaria; agitation, sleep disturbance; in isolated cases - facial swelling, shortness of breath (shortness of breath), dizziness and decreased blood pressure.
