Product description

Ekvator tablets are used for the following indications:

• essential arterial hypertension in adults;
• replacement therapy for patients with adequate blood pressure control while taking lisinopril and amlodipine at the indicated doses.

Compound

One tablet contains (active ingredients):

lisinopril (in the form of 10.88 mg lisinopril dihydrate) - 10 mg;

amlodipine (in the form of 6.94 mg amlodipine besylate) - 5 mg.

Excipients: magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate (type A), microcrystalline cellulose.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to lisinopril or any other ACE inhibitor;
• a history of angioedema associated with the use of an ACE inhibitor;
• hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;
• pregnancy or the period of planning pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding;
• the simultaneous use of the preparation "Ekvator " with preparations that contain aliskiren is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal failure (glomerular filtration rate <60 ml / minute / 1.73 m2);
• simultaneous use with sacubitril / valsartan; it is not recommended to start taking the preparation "Ekvator " earlier than 36 hours after taking the last dose of sacubitril / valsartan;
• hypersensitivity to amlodipine or any other dihydropyridine derivatives;
• severe arterial hypotension;
• shock (including cardiogenic);
• obstruction of the outflow tract of the left ventricle (severe aortic valve stenosis);
• hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction;
• hypersensitivity to any of the excipients of the preparation "Ekvator ".

Mode of application

The recommended dose is one tablet per day. The maximum daily dose is one tablet.

In general, fixed-dose combination preparations are not suitable for initial therapy.

The preparation "Ekvator ", tablets 10 mg / 5 mg, is indicated only for patients for whom the titrated optimal maintenance doses of lisinopril and amlodipine are 10 mg and 5 mg, respectively. If necessary, you can consider the advisability of choosing the preparation "Ekvator " with other doses of individual components.

The safety and efficacy of using the preparation "Ekvator " in children (under the age of 18) have not been established.

Drivers

The preparation "Ekvator " can affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with other mechanisms (especially at the beginning of treatment).

Overdose

There is no evidence of an overdose of the preparation "Ekvator " in humans.

Side effects

From the nervous system: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - dizziness, headache.

From the side of the organs of vision: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - visual impairment (including diplopia).

From the side of the heart: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - palpitation.

From the vascular system: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - orthostatic effects (including orthostatic hypotension), skin hyperemia.

On the part of the respiratory system, chest and mediastinal organs: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - cough, dyspnea.

From the gastrointestinal tract: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia, defecation disorder (diarrhea, constipation).

From the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - swelling of the ankles (ankle joint), muscle cramps.

On the part of the kidneys and urinary tract: frequent (from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10) - impaired renal function.

Storage conditions

Store in its original packaging to protect from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.
