Indications
Essentiale Forte is a herbal medicinal product used in liver diseases. It reduces subjective complaints such as: lack of appetite, feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage as a result of an incorrect diet, the action of toxic substances or in the course of hepatitis.
Action
Essentiale Forte has a regenerative effect on the liver parenchyma. It restores proper enzymatic activity, has anti-atherosclerotic effects and increases vascular flow. It contains phospholipids, which:
- are the building blocks of liver cell membranes,
- take part in cholesterol metabolism,
- are important in the prevention of gallstone formation,
- play an important role in the digestion of fats,
- accelerate the removal of fats from the liver,
- reduce fat deposition in the liver,
- have anti-atherosclerotic effects,
- protect liver cells from damage.

Composition
The active substance of the preparation is (Phospholipidum essentiale) soybean phospholipids containing (3-sn-phosphatidyl) choline, 1 capsule contains 300 mg.
Excipients: refined soybean oil, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated vegetable glycerides, triglycerides of higher fatty acids, ethanol, ethyl vanillin, p-methoxyacetophenone, α-tocopherol.
Capsule shell: gelatin, yellow iron oxide, black iron oxide, red iron oxide, titanium dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, purified water.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 x 2 capsules per day.
Take during meals, without chewing (with a glass of water, for example).
Children and adolescents:
- Do not use Essentiale Forte in children under 12 years of age.
The capsules should be taken during meals, without chewing (e.g. with a glass of water).
Important information:
Essentiale Forte should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance, soy, peanuts or any of the ingredients of the preparation.
Due to the content of soybean oil, the preparation may cause allergic reactions.
