Femirose is a non-hormonal combined herbal preparation, the pharmacological activity of which is due to the complex action of evening primrose oil, saffron and vitamins on various mechanisms of PMS development. The components of Femirose help to normalize the menstrual cycle and reduce the manifestations of premenstrual syndrome: engorgement of the mammary glands, pain in the lower abdomen and cramps, nervousness, irritability, headache, fatigue, as well as improve digestion and help in the fight against excess weight by accelerating the feeling of fullness.

Active ingredients

The pharmacological activity of Femirose is due to the complex action of evening primrose oil, saffron extract and vitamins, which help to avoid and prevent the occurrence of premenstrual symptoms and normalize the menstrual cycle.

In the process of synthesis, gamma-linolenic acid of evening primrose oil is converted in the body into anti-inflammatory prostaglandins and prostanoids, which are capable of changing the activity of enzymes, influencing the synthesis of hormones and adjusting their effect on various organs and tissues.

Primrose oil helps to normalize the menstrual cycle and reduce the manifestations of premenstrual syndrome (engorgement of the mammary glands, pain in the lower abdomen, nervousness, headache, etc.), exhibits anti-inflammatory effects.

The complex of tocopherols (vitamin E), which is part of Femirose, exhibits high antioxidant properties, protects cell membrane lipids from peroxidation and damage by free radicals. This is of great importance in the prevention of early aging and cardiovascular disease.
