Indications:

Flegatussin syrup is a medicine intended for use in cough with difficult expectoration in the course of inflammation of the respiratory tract.

Contraindications:

Do not use Flegatussin syrup if you are allergic to bromhexine hydrochloride, plantain leaf, mullein flower or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Properties:

Flegatussin syrup facilitates expectoration of secretions remaining in the respiratory tract. The active substances are bromhexine hydrochloride and liquid extract of plantain leaves and mullein flowers. Bromhexine hydrochloride increases the amount of secretion and liquefies it, facilitating its expectoration. Plantain leaf, thanks to the mucus it contains, covers the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, thus protecting them from irritation. In addition, it reduces the congestion of the mucous membranes and has an antibacterial effect.

Composition:

The active substances of Flegatussin syrup are bromhexine hydrochloride, plantain leaf and mullein flower. 100 g of the preparation contains 0.04 g of bromhexine hydrochloride and 36 g of liquid extract (1: 3) from plantain leaves and mullein flowers. The other ingredients are sucrose, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid monohydrate, lemon flavor 0453282, purified water.

Use:

Flegatussin syrup is recommended to be used orally. Children aged 6-12: 5 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day. A measuring cup is used to administer the preparation, which allows you to measure 5 ml or 10 ml of the syrup. During the treatment, a large amount of fluids should be taken to enable the proper expectorant reflex and not to irritate the respiratory system.
