Indications

Treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as belching, heartburn and indigestion, for example after meals or during pregnancy, and in patients with symptoms related to reflux oesophagitis.

Composition

1 tablet contains: 250 mg of sodium alginate, 133.5 mg of sodium bicarbonate and 80 mg of calcium carbonate; in addition, the drug contains mannitol (E421), macrogol 20,000, copovidone, aspartame (E951), peppermint flavor, magnesium stearate and potassium acesulfame. The tablets do not contain sugar or gluten.

Action

The medicine creates a protective layer that persists over the surface of the stomach contents, preventing the reflux of acid in the stomach, which causes pain and discomfort in the esophagus.

Dosage

Use in adults, including the elderly, and in children 12 years of age and above: in the event of symptoms 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Use in children under 12 years of age: administer only after consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

Allergy to any component of the drug.
