Product description

Gropivirin syrup is indicated for the following infections:

viral respiratory infections;
viral infections caused by herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2, varicella-zoster virus, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, measles virus, mumps virus, including in patients with immunodeficiency states;
papillomavirus infections of the skin and mucous membranes: genital warts, papillomavirus infection of the vulva, vagina and cervix (as part of complex therapy);
acute viral encephalitis (as part of complex therapy);
viral hepatitis (as part of complex therapy);

Structure

Active ingredient: inosine pranobex;

1 ml of syrup contains 50 mg of inosine pranobex;

Excipients: sucrose; sodium citrate monobasic anhydrous; methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218); propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216); sodium hydroxide; flavoring "Cherry"; purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the preparation, exacerbation of gout, hyperuricemia.

Mode of application

The preparation is administered orally.

The daily dose depends on body weight, course and severity of the disease, the patient's condition.

The daily dose should be distributed evenly over the course of the day.

Do not use the preparation during pregnancy or lactation.

Children

The preparation Gropivirin, syrup, is used in children from 1 year old.

Drivers

The effect of the preparation on the reaction rate when driving or working with other mechanisms has not been studied. However, patients should be aware that the preparation may cause dizziness or other adverse reactions from the nervous system.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported. Overdose can cause an increase in serum and urine uric acid levels. Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects

General disorders: increased fatigue, malaise.

On the part of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: rashes, itching.

From the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, discomfort in the epigastric region.

From the nervous system: headache, dizziness.

From the musculoskeletal system and muscles: arthralgia.

Interaction

You should not take the preparation at the same time as immunosuppressants. Care should be taken to prescribe a preparation with xanthine oxidase inhibitors or preparations that promote the excretion of uric acid, including diuretics, with thiazide diuretics (such as hydrochlorothiazide, chlorthalidone, indapamide) or loop diuretics (such as furosemide, torasemide, ethacrynic acid).

Inosine pranobex should not be used during therapy with immunosuppressants, since the simultaneous use of immunosuppressants can affect its expected therapeutic effect due to the peculiarities of pharmacokinetic mechanisms (use is possible only after completion of therapy).

With simultaneous use with azidothymidine, nucleotide formation increases due to an increase in the bioavailability of azidothymidine in blood plasma and an increase in intracellular phosphorylation in human blood monocytes.

Storage conditions

Store in its original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
