Indication
As part of complex treatment: chronic cholecystitis, dyskinesia of the gallbladder, post-cholecystectomy syndrome, atonic constipation, uncomplicated cholesterosis of the gallbladder.
Application
Adults are prescribed 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day after meals for 3-4 weeks. then - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day after meals for 1-2 months. if necessary, the course of treatment is repeated 2-3 times with a break of 3 months. the first signs of improvement usually appear on the 5-8th day after the start of treatment (reduction of pain in the right hypochondrium, disappearance of dyspeptic phenomena).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, acute hepatitis, gallstone disease, obstructive jaundice, spasm of the sphincter of Oddi, acute pancreatitis, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage, acute enterocolitis.
Side effects
Manifestations of individual hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation (allergic reactions), diarrhea.
Special instructions
With urolithiasis, the preparation is used with caution.

Interactions
Simultaneous use of allochol with:

- antiseptics or chemotherapeutic agents - improves the therapeutic effectiveness of the latter in infectious processes in the liver or biliary tract;
- preparations containing aluminum hydroxide, cholestyramine, colestipol - reduces absorption and reduces the effect of Alochol; their simultaneous reception is impractical.
Overdose
To date, no cases of overdose have been registered. with long-term use in doses exceeding the recommended, the following symptoms are possible: diarrhea, nausea, itching of the skin, an increase in the level of transaminases in the blood. treatment. withdrawal of the preparation, symptomatic therapy, no specific antidote.
