Indications

Fever of various origins, including influenza, colds and post-vaccination reactions, pain of various origins and mild to moderate intensity, such as: headache, throat and muscle pain (e.g. in the course of viral infections), toothache after dental procedures , pain due to teething, pain in joints and bones due to injuries of the musculoskeletal system (e.g. sprains), pain due to soft tissue injuries, postoperative pains, earaches occurring in inflammation of the middle ear. Children from 3 months of age or weighing more than 5 kg.

Composition

1 ml of suspension contains 40 mg of ibuprofen, non-crystallising liquid sorbitol, propylene glycol and sodium benzoate (E211), suspension.

Action

Antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory.

Dosage

The recommended daily dose is 20-30 mg / kg body weight, administered at intervals of 3 or 4 divided doses. For adult patients in adolescents, the maximum recommended dose is 1,200 mg per day. The preparation should be administered at intervals of at least six hours. Best taken after a meal. Do not use more than the prescribed dose.

Contraindications

Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all the preparations taken by the patient now or recently, and about the preparations that the patient is planning to use. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking the preparation. Use in the first 6 months of pregnancy should be avoided unless clearly necessary. Caution should be exercised in patients with: systemic lupus erythematosus and mixed connective tissue disease - increased risk of developing aseptic meningitis, congenital disorders of porphyrin metabolism, gastrointestinal diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), hypertension and / or cardiac dysfunction, renal dysfunction, hepatic dysfunction, recent major surgery. People who have experienced allergy symptoms such as bronchospasm or asthma, rhinitis, urticaria during treatment with acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs); stomach ulcers and / or duodenal ulcers, perforation or bleeding, also with NSAIDs, severe liver, kidney and heart failure; blood coagulation disorders, hemorrhagic diathesis; unexplained blood production disorders such as thrombocytopenia; cerebrovascular or other active bleeding.
