Indications

Incidentally, in infections of the upper respiratory tract, mouth, sinuses, throat and tonsils; in badly healing wounds; prone to frequent colds and bacterial, viral and fungal infections.

Composition

100 g of the preparation contains: active substances juice of Echinaceae purpureae herbae recentis succus DER 1: 1 extraction solvent ethanol 96% (V / V) 40 g, aronia fruit juice (Aroniae fructus succus) DER1: 1 extraction solvent ethanol 96 % (V / V) 30g, burdock root juice (Bardanae radicis recentis succus) DER 1: 1 extraction solvent ethanol 96% (V / V) 10g, liquid extract from chamomile baskets (Chamomilae extractum fluidum) DER 0.5-1 extraction solvent ethanol 70% (v / v) 10g, nettle herb juice (Urticae herbae recentis succus) DER 1: 1 extraction solvent ethanol 96% (v / v) 10g. Ethanol content: 28-36% (v / v).

Action

Strengthening the immune system.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3-5 ml of the preparation up to 4 times a day, 30 minutes before eating, dissolving the preparation in a small amount of water. Start therapy with the preparation at the first signs of infection. It should be used for no more than 10 days both in the prevention and treatment of colds and during auxiliary use in infections of the upper respiratory tract. For treatment, therapy should be started at the first symptoms of a cold. If symptoms persist after 10 days of using the preparation, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

Do not use the preparation if the patient is hypersensitive to any active or excipient substances or to plants from the former Asteraceae family (formerly Compositae). Due to its immunostimulatory activity, Immunofort is not indicated in progressive systemic diseases, autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency, immunosuppression, and blood diseases affecting the white blood cell system. It is not recommended to drive motor vehicles immediately after taking the preparation. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age due to a lack of data on safety and alcohol content. If the symptoms worsen or you develop a high fever while taking the preparation, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Patients atopic (prone to allergies) should consult a physician before using Echinacea preparation, as there is a risk of anaphylactic reaction.

Storage

Store the preparation below 25ºC, out of the sight and reach of children. A slight sediment may form during storage. A slight turbidity formed during storage is allowed. Do not use the preparation after the expiry date stated on the package.

Side effects

Immunofort can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Cases of hypersensitivity to echinacea and chamomile, characterized by rash, urticaria, pruritus, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, angioedema, Quincke's edema, bronchospasm, asthma and anaphylactic reaction, may occur. The frequency of side effects has not been established. Echinacea (Echinacea) can cause anaphylactic reactions in people with atopy. The association with autoimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, erythema nodosum, Evans syndrome, Sjögren's syndrome with renal failure) is not excluded. As a result of long-term use (more than 8 weeks), leukopenia may occur. Adverse reactions can be reported to the Department of Monitoring Adverse Effects of Medicinal Products, Office for Registration of Medicinal Products or to the responsible entity.

Interactions

So far, no interactions with other preparations have been observed.
