Imodium® Express tablets with Zydis technology dissolve on the tongue in just 3 seconds and do not require drinking water.
Imodium® helps to stop diarrhea from the very first use: the effective composition of diarrhea (diarrhea) tablets restores the natural rhythm of the intestines.
The preparation for diarrhea (diarrhea) Imodium® can begin to act as early as 1 hour after administration: each tablet contains 2 milligrams of the active ingredient - loperamide hydrochloride, which helps to eliminate the symptoms of diarrhea.
Imodium® also helps preserve the natural microflora of the intestines, preventing the leaching of beneficial salts and trace elements from it, which occurs with diarrhea.
Active substance:
Loperamide hydrochloride (1 tablet contains 2 mg of loperamide hydrochloride).
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 12 years of age. Symptomatic treatment of acute episodes of diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome in adults (over 18 years of age) after initial diagnosis by a doctor.
Mode of application
Imodium® Express tablet, which is dispersed in the oral cavity, should be placed on the tongue. The tablet will dissolve and must be swallowed with saliva. You do not need to drink Imodium® Express.
The initial dose is 2 tablets (4 mg), then - 1 tablet (2 mg) after each loose stool or according to the preliminary recommendations of a doctor. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets (12 mg).
Possible side reactions
Headache, constipation, bloating, nausea, dry mouth, flatulence, abdominal pain and discomfort, and others.
