Product description

Irbutin is food for special medical purposes. The active substance of the preparation is sodium butyric acid (sodium butyrate) in the form of micro-encapsulated granules. sodium butyrate helps to maintain the proper structure and function of the intestines. The active substance of the preparation is also a source of energy for colonocytes - intestinal epithelial cells and is an important factor stimulating their growth and regeneration.

Application

For the dietary management in:

• functional disorders of the digestive tract: abdominal pain and flatulence, diarrhea, constipation, functional dyspepsia,
• irritable bowel syndrome (IBS),
• disorders of the intestinal flora after antibiotic therapy,
• diverticular disease of the large intestine,
• conditions after diagnostic and surgical procedures in the gastrointestinal tract.

Recommended intake

The capsule should be swallowed whole with lukewarm or cool water. It is best to take it with a meal.

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, morning and evening. It is recommended to use the preparation for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule a day, preferably in the evening. It is recommended to use the preparation for at least 6 weeks.

Ingredients

Sodium butyrate, coating: stabilizer - mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, thickening agent - sodium alginate, bulking agent - cellulose, capsule: thickening agent - hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, dye - titanium dioxide, anti-caking agent - magnesium salts of fatty acids, bulking agent - cellulose, bulking agent - calcium phosphates.

1 capsule contains:

• energy value 10 kJ / 3 kcal;
• fat <0.5 g, (saturated fatty acids <0.5 g), carbohydrates <0.0 g (sugars <0.0 g), protein <0 g, fiber 0 g, salt 0.09 g.

Contraindications

The preparation is contraindicated in the case of people with swallowing disorders or in cases where swallowing capsules is difficult.
