Composition

1 medicated plaster contains: active substance: 140 mg of diclofenac sodium and excipients: butyl methacrylate, basic copolymer, acrylates and vinyl acetate copolymer, macrogol 12 stearate, sorbitan oleate. Polyester support layer. Paper mini silicone protective layer.

Action

indications

Short-term treatment (not longer than 7 days). Local, short-term and symptomatic treatment of pain in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age for acute strains, sprains or bruises of the limbs resulting from blunt trauma, e.g. sports injuries.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1 of the SmPC: in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations

Side effects

Undesirable effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time (see section 4.2 of the SmPC). If a skin rash occurs after application of the medicated plaster, treatment should be stopped immediately. Patients should be cautioned not to expose themselves to sunlight or exposure to sun beds after removing the patch, in order to reduce the risk of photosensitisation. The possibility of systemic adverse reactions resulting from the use of diclofenac medicated plaster cannot be excluded. if it is used on large areas of the body for a long period of time (see information on the systemic forms of diclofenac).
